Beautiful mountain course almost flawlessly maintained!! I drove 2 hours from Charlotte and it was worth every minute! Despite being an "Executive" course with 9 Par 3's and only 1 Par 5, it doesn't feel short at all! Hats off to the staff for a great job! In an area rich with private communities and upscale country clubs, Sugar Mountain is a "must play"!!

Plenty of challenges await. Lots of slope means you have to play shots to the right areas or else risk being far off the fairway. Greens take some getting used to. Not too long - which helps with playability.
My boyfriend and I are in town visiting and came here for 18. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. This course is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend. We will be returning!
